Terrific win for the D2 Men!!

After the first quarter , which saw both teams go toe-to-toe , the D2 men stepped up their game defensively , led by Misan Fyne the defensive anchor. Offensively, the scoring was very balanced , with everyone scoring. David O’Beirne had his usual scores from the post , Tom Kenny , Misan Fyne, Sam Badejo , Moustapha Kourouma, Dami Abagun and Brian Curran scored from strong drives to the basket while Ethan Farrelly, Bradley Owens, Andy Quinn, Bobby Cudden and Cian Coleman made it rain from deep.

The highlight of the game was definitely Moustapha Kourouma’s monster block in the 4th quarter to cap off an amazing win for the D2 Men!

All eyes ahead to next Tuesday as the D2 Men face Drogheda in the first round of the cup in Tolka! Details will be shared in a few days!
