Our next senior award goes to the best defender of the year. Here are our finalists:

• Misan Fyne - a lockdown defender for our D2 Men’s squad. He marked the opposition’s best player each game. His length and tenacity makes him a fantastic perimeter defender!

• David O’Beirne - Doby was the anchor of the best defence in D2. A great communicator and leader aswell as a fantastic shot blocker, Doby was a forced to be reckoned with on the defensive side!

• Shelby Cheslek - Standing at 6’5, Shelby was a monster defensively for our NL Ladies. Shelby averaged 4.2 blocks per game and 2.1 steals per game , a true nightmare for any opposition!
